Taurus Fabric Build will supply your decontamination structure:
Taurus Fabric Build can supply a range of static or mobile fabric structures, for use in the decontamination industry. They are designed for applications where negative pressure is required. This includes air locks for equipment and personnel passage in and out of the building.
These fabric structures are of modular construction design enabling the shelter to meet varying width, length and height requirements, compact in transport mode and up to thirty metres wide.
A full turnkey system can be provided including the fabric structure, exhaust and air movement systems and dust removal. Chemical scrubber systems and sniffer technology to analyse the volatile gases in every bucket of soil treated are also available. This enables treatment to be tailored to chemicals present, rather than to treat the whole area to the most damaging contaminant present.
Through our alliance partners total treatment packages can be provided, including all labour and equipment.
Large mobile structures increase productivity by reducing the structure shift downtime dramatically, enabling equipment to be operated with much lower downtime hours, reducing the overall time needed to complete large decontamination projects.
Taurus Fabric Build through its sister company Toro Shelters has had experience in low level nuclear decontamination. For these projects an inner skin, which is disposed of at the end of the project, is used to contain any contaminated dust and ensure that there is 100% removal in the decontamination process.
The ability to use internal sacrificial skins makes the final decommissioning a much simpler operation with very much lower costs.
