Fabric structures for warehouses
Fabric structures are a practical option for warehouses. Pallet racking can be built into the spaces between the posts giving a very efficient building footprint. Having a light coloured fabric on the roof gives a very even light and reduces energy costs dramatically.
The critical measurements that are required for designing a warehouse are the;
1. Width and length 2. Height of the eves and the apex (if applicable) 3. Doorway sizes and placement 4. Type of doors required, high speed, roller, sliding etc. 5. If side pallet racking is required
eed a small or large space to store goods, machinery, equipment, files, stock feed or any other warehousing need, Taurus Fabric Build has a solution to fit your requirements. Container mounted fabric structures have the added storage area within the shipping containers. The fabric covered area provides weather protection, while the containers are lockable.If you have raw materials that need to be kept dry, a fabric roof mounted to concrete blocks contains the product while protecting it from the rain.
None of the fabric structures have internal poles. The space is open, allowing more room for your product to be stored and ease of movement with loading and unloading vehicles.
Polyethylene fabric is UV radiant
There are many benefits of using fabric structures and modular flat packs for storage and general warehousing. Due to the polyethylene fabric being UV radiant, products that need to stay cool, such as some fertilizers, will do so under the fabric structure storage buildings. The fabric can be up to 15°C cooler than the outside temperature. This factor also makes working under the structures more pleasant for staff handling the product. The modular flat packs are air conditioned
