Large Fabric Structure styles:
For large fabric structures, Taurus uses the web truss shelters with two, three or four cords, depending on the width and style of the structure. The steel is either triple galvanised or hot dipped galvanised to minimise corrosion. In extreme environments double hot dip galvanising is an option.
All structures are fully engineered and options provided for footings, doorway systems and ventilation systems.
Benefits of large fabric structures:
The large clear span space these buildings create enables flexibility in the design of the interior. This ensures you get the the most efficient and productive use of the space available. The lack of internal posts negates the possibility of collision between mobile equipment and the structure supports.
The large fabric structures are quicker to erect than traditional buildings, reducing labour costs and enabling productivity and profits to commence sooner.
The fabric covers come in many colours, however the white fabric is translucent, reducing the need for daytime artificial lighting.
The structures are relocatable or permanent buildings and come in gable and arch style frames.
The cost per metre squared rises as the width of the structure increases, but this needs to be balanced against the efficiency gained by having the extra clear span space.
