Double stacked bulk rail wagons mounted fabric structure 24mW x 60mL x 6mH – Xstrata
Using shipping containers as effective walls
Container mounted fabric structures can be mounted to shipping containers or existing buildings. Fabric roofing can be mounted to single or double stacked GP (general purpose) or HC (high cube) containers. All container mounted fabric structures need to be anchored, using either ballast, bolted to a concrete slab or install concrete piers. Taurus provides the engineering specifications.
Frames for the fabric covers to attach to are mounted to the containers either inside to inside, outside to outside or inside to outside, using mounting brackets, or bolt on or weld on top-rails. If the structure is going to relocated the bolt on top rails are the better option. It is much easier and quicker to undo the bolts to remove the cover than cut off weld on rails.
Container mounted fabric structures, fast to install with full engineering
Container mounted fabric structures are quick to install. For example, a container mounted 12m x 12m structure would typically take 3 people 2 days to install without rushing. The large structures, say a 26m x 50m, will take about a week with three to four men on a prepared site. Weather and site issues will effect the time taken.

The structures come with full engineers plans and assembly instructions. You can put the structure up yourself, or we can supply a supervisor to oversee your men do the job or a full team will do the job for you.
We have a range of standard sizes in the container mounted structure range – from 5m to 30m wide with lengths to suit single or multiple containers. .
