Harvest your rain water with gutters for fabric structures:

Walk-along gutters for fabric structures ensure easy access for maintenance
Rain water run off from structures can be collected, stored and managed using gutters for fabric structures designed specifically for your building. A complete gutter kit consists of 3 m galvanised box gutter sections, silicone sealant, rivets and stop ends. Box guttering normally has a 400 mm base which can be walked along to access the fabric from the roof of the containers. This makes access between shelters or along the edge of shelters much easier in the future.
Container mounted gutters for fabric structures:
When locating your containers consider having a slight fall to the outer edge, 10-15 mm. This will help to run the water to the outer edge. Alternately gap filling foam can be sprayed into the ridges of the container under the “Sail rail” aluminium edge to stop moisture intruding. If using this method make sure you cut the external face neatly and paint it with household paint to protect it from UV which will break it down quickly.
Bitumen tape sealing strips can be used to seal the fabric to the container roof if a 100% seal is required, but this makes it almost impossible to shift the structure in the future without destroying the fabric.
Box guttering can be used if the water is to be collected. This is also suitable if using a common container between shelters, using extended flaps to divert the run-off from the two structures and the area over the container into one central box gutter.
Commercial Gutters for Fabric Structures

Commercial spouting can be used for gutters for fabric structures mounted internally.
Commercial gutters can be attached to the internal edge of the container, with the top edge of the gutter sealed with silicon against the container so as any water running inside the shelter is captured in gutter. Down pipes can be used to direct the water from the structure or to water tanks if preferred.
